If we find one person, the choir wins

- Forming the choir helped Peter

EVER since The Missing People Choir first appeared on BGT, the charity has been inundated with support from all around the globe.

Co-founder Clare Cook, 42, says: “One little boy sent us his pocket money saying he hoped it would help.

“We had someone contact us from New York to say he had been so moved that he sent us a book of poems he had written about hope, saying we might be inspired to write songs off the back of it.”

And a broken family was reunited after they were inspired to get back in touch after watching the audition.

Singer Emma Cullingford, 34, whose mum Sandra Hall went missing in 2013 before being found dead, says: “We said if we found one person or reunited one family that would feel like winning.”

Tonight’s semi-final also features Derbyshire children’s choir Perfect Pitch Creation, West London dancers TNG Characters and singer Jamie Lee Harrison. There’s comedy from Daliso Chaponda and Jess Robinson, with dancers Code 3 and Lords of Strut.
