IMAGINE if Jose Mourinho was in charge of the British and Irish Lions.

Ten games in little more than a month, culminating in three Test matches against the All Blacks in the final fortnight.

They are even squeezing in a game against the elite Super Rugby outfit Hurricanes in between the first and second Tests.

Now that’s what you call ’not human’, which is the favourite description of Manchester United’s end-of-season schedule used by Jose (above).

The Lions tour should be compelling viewing, but whoever agreed to make one of the hardest tasks in sport even harder has undermined it before it has even started.
