MOURNING ZOO LOSS...
# I am sorry zookeeper Rosa King lost her life to an animal she loved and looked after well. I send my condolences to her family, friends and staff at the zoo. It is no surprise though that these animals attack.
As much as zoos try, there is nothing like being free to roam. I am glad the tiger has not been killed – and Rosa would not have wanted that to happen I am sure. Wendy Keelan, South West London

Another Premier League season is over and we get the usual complaints from managers about too many games, moved kick-off times and rescheduled dates. They never blame the TV paymasters. Then, big Sam retires, citing family life as the reason. It’s a good thing he left his England job last year or the FA would be looking for a new manager today. A fickle business, football – never boring though! Alan Baber, Weston Super Mare, North Somerset

Why did Theresa May allow Donald Trump to lead the minute’s silence for victims of the Manchester bombing at the G7 conference? What an insult to the victims, Manchester and the UK. James Flanagan, Coatbridge, Lanarkshire

I wish SNP leader Nicola Sturgeon would give up asking for another referendum on Scottish independence. They held one and voted to stay in the UK so they have to accept this.
