I would like to echo the sentiments last week that an age gap between a loving couple doesn’t matter.

I married my husband when I was 36 and he was 49. We had 21 very happy years together despite the fact that he had longstanding health problems.

Unfortunately I lost him in 2015, but I’m lucky enough to have plenty of happy memories to look back on.

So when you find love, hang on to it and ignore the age gap. Just be happy.
