Wright to quit as skipper

LUKE WRIGHT has stepped down as Sussex captain after just over a year – but has reiterated his commitment to the club.

After a poor start to the season, Wright, 32, said: “Being captain has affected me on and off the pitch. But I look forward to giving my full commitment as a player.”
