Chest keep your body under cover

- BY SIOBHAN MCNALLY, COLUMNIST

IT was Simon Cowell who started the whole slashed to the waist trend, but Amanda Holden has taken it to a new low – just inches from her golden buzzer.

And so BGT’s knockers were out again – all 216 of them who rightly complained to Ofcom.

Co-star Alesha Dixon’s stripper’s outfit last year got only 90 complaints, so it was to be expected that Amanda would take the shock frock to new limits.

Don’t get me wrong, I like to watch programmes that contain lots of nudity and bad language, but not with my impressionable eight-year-old girl Jesse.

While I’m trying to teach her that girls can scale the heights of their dreams, Amanda’s gown tells her that no matter how well she does at school, or how hard she works, her most important attributes are stuck to her chest.

As Jesse’s boy pal Sam said: “Simon and David don’t get their clothes off. Why do the ladies have to show their boobies?”

I don’t know, Sam, perhaps you’d like to ask Si if there aren’t already enough t*ts on the panel.
