CHOCOLATEY MUG CAKE
Apparently mug cakes are one of the most searched for recipes on the internet at 7.30 every evening – so time for a mug cake recipe methinks...
30g butter 40g white chocolate, chopped up 1/4 tsp vanilla extract 1 egg 2 tbsp plain flour 1/2 tsp baking powder 1 tbsp raspberry jam, or whatever jam you fancy...
Melt the butter and chocolate in a mug in a microwave for 30-40 seconds (800 watts). Beat the mixture, then allow it to cool slightly.
Whisk in the egg, vanilla extract, then the flour and baking powder.
Cook in the microwave for another 40 secs. Add the jam and blast it for a further 50 seconds.
Once it’s cooled sufficiently, just tuck in and enjoy!
