Mischievous dog glues its mouth shut

A DOG sealed its mouth with superglue – then was saved by a quick-thinking vet who used olive oil and a toothbrush.

Owner Louise Welby found 18-monthold Brie struggling to breathe and rushed the French bulldog to an emergency vet. Monica Guzman, of Vets Now in Witham, Essex, said: “Brie was very distressed so we sedated her. It took a lot of scrubbing.”

Louise, of Billericay, who had just moved home, said: “Brie used the sofa, jumped and got the glue on a cabinet.”
