OPS UNDER THE SPOTLIGHT
BADGE SAS symbol with their motto SAS troops carry “daysacks” filled with ammunition in the form of magazines for their assault rifle or sniper rifle and sidearm.
They will also have a large medical pouch for emergencies, a radio, ballistic body armour protection on their torso, and police overalls.
SAS liaison troops turn up to civilian incidents dressed in police style and in some have gone on to be signed up as regular officers.
