THE pressure is on when you’re fronting the most expensive show on telly.

So it’s no surprise Claire Foy was nervous The Crown would flop. She thought Oscarnominated writer Peter Morgan and exec producers Andy Harries and Stephen Daldry couldn’t possibly have another hit after successes like The Queen.

Claire admitted: “I felt they deserve it to go badly because they have made such amazing things so far, how could they pull off another?

“It’s a very British mentality – they deserve a kicking.

“I was like, ‘This is it and I’m going to be it. This is going to be a disaster’.”
