DARREN ANDERTON made his dad’s dream come true when he watched him star in an Auld Enemy clash.
STEVEN NAISMITH has targeted a dream Scotland double by the end of 2017.
The Norwich striker, 30, has a couple of important boxes left to tick in his international career.
With 46 caps in the bag, he needs just four more to qualify for a place in the national Hall of Fame.
In the next five competitive games, starting against England, he could reach the milestone – and secure a place in a first-ever major tournament finals next summer in Russia.
Naismith said: “Fifty caps is special with the Hall of Fame and everything that comes with it.
“The main thing is about playing and going away with your country, seeing the atmosphere at games, playing in them and getting to a tournament at the end of it all.
“That’s the main thing. The 50 is an added extra.
“Getting that and qualifying from this campaign would be lovely, but you have to get picked first and take it from there.
“I’ve come on in the last game against Slovenia and done well, so I’ll keep going. I love it, enjoy it and will do for Scotland until I’m not wanted.”
