MOVING Funeral procession THE Ariana Grande song My Everything echoed across the island of Barra in the Outer Hebrides as the first victim of the Manchester atrocity was laid to rest yesterday.

More than 1,000 people honoured Eilidh MacLeod, 14, at the Church of Our Lady Star of the Sea in Castlebay. Dad Roddy led the coffin, followed TRAGIC Eilidh by mum Marion. Eilidh’s great-uncle Donald Manford told mourners: “In contrast to the hate that took her life, Eilidh’s life was and now stands as a testament of the world of love, innocence, goodness, kindness and faith.” BATTLE Ella and mum Louise MANCHESTER bomb victim Ella McGovern has said Ariana Grande’s gig inspired her to try to return to school today.

The 14-year-old, whose legs were riddled with shrapnel in the arena blast, is also battling her mental wounds.

But she was determined to make it to the show and said: “It’s helped bring my confidence up. I haven’t been going out for fun stuff.”

And on the moment Ariana belted out One Last Time with her pals during the gig, she added: “I loved the song where all the celebrities came on. It was a really nice atmosphere.”

But leaving the show on Sunday reminded Ella of the arena horror. She said: “I started crying. Every little noise makes me jump.”
