Daughter kills herself after mum’s death
A GRIEVING daughter hanged herself because she could not cope with the death of her mother, an inquest was told.
A note found near Paige Chester read: “I love my family so much and I have tried but I need my mum.”
The admin assistant battled depression after Mandy died last November, split up with her boyfriend and lived on her own for the first time.
She had already taken two overdoses but by the end of January said she was feeling more upbeat, posting online: “I couldn’t be happier right now.”
But in March, Paige’s sister Shannon and pals found her dead at home in Maidstone, Kent, after she failed to turn up for work, the inquest in the town heard. Verdict: Suicide.
