PM: Campaign a piece of cake

-

THERESA May visited a farm, a bakery and a rugby club during a whistle-stop election tour yesterday.

The PM had a coffee and learned about Chorley cake at Scotch Bakery in Fleetwood, Lancs, then it was on to Stokeon-Trent where she rallied Tory loyalists.

When asked about the gruelling campaign trail, she said: “You can’t be a politician without enjoying election campaigns, so I’m going to be out there enjoying it over the next 48 hours.”
