Oli return lifts Wigan

- BY GARETH WALKER

WIGAN centre Oliver Gildart is set to make his long-awaited comeback from a neck injury at Leigh Centurions tomorrow.

Gildart has been sidelined for almost three months following a “crusher” tackle at Leeds in late March.

The incident saw Leeds back-rower Brett Ferres banned for six matches and Gildart was initially referred to a neurologist.

But Warriors’ hooker Sam Powell is out with concussion while skipper Sean O’Loughlin has a hamstring injury. Backrower Liam Farrell is suspended.
