Becks MLS thumbs-up

DAVID BECKHAM hopes to unleash his MLS team by 2020 after putting an end to his stadium nightmare.

Beckham has been waiting three years to find the right area for a 25,000capacity arena in Miami.

But, after officials voted in favour of the Miami Beckham United group buying a plot of land in Overtown, he hopes to get a team up and running in three years’ time.

Tim Leiweke, Becks’ right-hand man, said: “When you have someone like David Beckham in charge, the world’s best players are going to be interested.”
