NEW LOOK VOWS TO LOOK SHARP
Fashion chain New Look vowed to get quicker at latching onto the latest trends as sales fell.
Takings in the UK tumbled nearly 7% in the year to the end of March, with profits slumping 44% to £97.6million.
Boss Anders Kristiansen said shoppers were increasingly adopting a “buy now, wear now mentality”.
It had to be “faster in identifying and responding to trends, buying with conviction and becoming ever more agile”, he added.
