Lloyds IT roles go to IBM

Unions have voiced fears after Lloyds Bank transferre­d 1,500 IT jobs to computing giant IBM. Taxpayer-saved Lloyds said the move – affecting 500 staff and 1,000 contractor­s – was part of a new deal with IBM to boost cloud-based technology. But Dominic Hook, Unite national officer said: “This announceme­nt will leave staff nervous about their future.”
