Wagner signs a £2m contract with the Terriers
DAVID WAGNER has agreed a new £2million-a-year contract with Huddersfield to lead them in their first Premier League campaign.
Wagner (above) has been in talks with owner and chairman Dean Hoyle since winning the Championship play-off final eight days ago and the German has committed his future to the Terriers. Wagner’s agent Marc Kosicke said: “After talks with the club’s owners, David has chosen – despite some interesting offers from clubs in England and Germany – the Premier League adventure with Huddersfield.”
Wagner, who took over in November 2015, is settled in West Yorkshire and is bringing his wife and two daughters over to live with him full-time this summer.
