SOUTHAMPTON are considering a move for axed Borussia Dortmund boss Thomas Tuchel.

Saints are poised to part company with current manager Claude Puel after an end-of-season review. He took them to the League Cup final and an eighthplace finish, but with 17 points fewer than last year. Tuchel (left) rowed with the board and was fired last month, three days after leading the club to the German Cup, their first trophy in five years. Dortmund finished third in the Bundesliga.
