Harry will make his Marc on the Blues

HARRY REDKNAPP wants to bolster Birmingham’s defence by recruiting Barnsley captain Marc Roberts.

The Blues boss hopes to turn his side into promotion contenders next season after keeping them up last month.

Strapping 6ft 4in defender Roberts (above), 26, only has 12 months left on his deal at Barnsley after joining two years ago from Halifax. He has previously been linked with local rivals Aston Villa.
