Naismith so much more than a hall-of-famer
STEVEN NAISMITH is five caps away from reaching his halfcentury with Scotland and thus entering the SFA’s Hall Of Fame.
But because he’s not getting a regular game with Norwich, he isn’t certain he’ll make it.
Well, after the tireless, and mainly unsung, work he’s done for dyslexia sufferers, injured ex-servicemen, homeless people, and the unemployed, I wouldn’t worry.
Naismith (left) has already earned a place in the hearts of fans across the divides in Clydeside and Merseyside. A far harder job than winning 50 Scottish caps.
And a far better place to be remembered than the SFA’s Hall Of Fame.
