A LILLE BIT OF HOPE FOR BRAVO

- BY DAVID ANDERSON

CLAUDIO BRAVO has been offered an escape route from Manchester City by French club Lille following Ederson’s world-record move. Ederson (below), who completed his £34.9million switch from Benfica to become the world’s most expensive keeper, has signed a six-year deal.

His big-money arrival casts a question mark over Bravo’s City future. He lost the No.1 spot during a poor debut campaign. Lille coach Marcelo Bielsa, who worked with Bravo while Chile boss, would like to take him on loan.

City are ready to offload England midfielder Fabian Delph. Stoke and West Brom are interested.
