VIRGIL VAN DIJK has been told he will not be sold this summer.
Southampton have reacted strongly after the “tapping-up” row with Liverpool by informing the defender and his representatives they expect him to stay at St Mary’s.
It comes as the Reds are still waiting to discover if they will be punished by the Premier League, after Saints reported the illegal approach for which the Anfield club subsequently apologised.
The south-coast side value the Dutch centre-back around £70million, but do not want to sell at any price.
