A TEACHER has been banned for watching porn in a lesson at a £10,000-a-term boarding school.
Paul Stanbury also grabbed and pushed a pupil after telling other students to “p*** off ”.
He had previously been warned after looking at sexual images on school computers in 2007 and again in 2014.
A National College of Teaching and Leadership hearing heard Stanbury, 51. took a register and called “Pupil A’s” full name but Pupil A corrected him with his shortened name. The teacher then said, “I have marked you all absent, none of you answered your names, you can p*** off ”. Stanbury then took headphones from Pupil A’. When he went to retrieve them, Stanbury grabbed and pushed him. Stanbury was dismissed from Aldenham School in Elstree, Herts, in September, after being found guilty of gross misconduct. After the hearing last month, he was banned from teaching. Former students at Aldenham include Dale Winton and Karren Brady.
