CRAZY GUY Storm chaser Stevie ITV, 9pm

FROM hotels on fire to being cornered by a herd of wild elephants, this is a round-up of some of the disasters to befall unlucky holidaymakers.

C4, 10pm Fargo is a world where it’s always cold and miserable, and an old man is murdered with his mouth and nose glued shut.

Then of course there’s the reign of terror begun by VM (David Thewlis), always smiling with a mouth full of terrible teeth. Villains always have terrible teeth.

VM’s cronies have already launched Emmit’s (Ewan McGregor) attorney off the roof of a car park, so they mean business. But despite the general horror, this week’s episode feels slightly lighter only because Gloria (Carrie Coon) heads to Los Angeles to revisit her dead stepfather’s past.

Of course, as soon as she gets there, bad things start happening. But at least it’s sunny and everyone isn’t walking around in coats that look like duvets. There are certainly some creepy moments, though.

Meanwhile, we flash back to 1975 where a young author is approached by a film producer to turn his novel into a movie.

But you’ll have to stick with Fargo’s slow pace to find out how the two stories eventually collide. DEADLY TRIP Gloria heads to LA
