Griez vow to Atletico

ANTOINE GRIEZMANN has pledged himself to Atletico Madrid, penning a one-year extension to his current deal with the Spanish club.

And the France striker has vowed to give his all to the club after talk of him going to Manchester United for a world-record fee.

He had even revealed on French TV that there was “a six out of 10” chance of him joining United.

But yesterday he said: “I want to apologise to people who misunderstood my statements. Maybe I expressed myself badly.

“But I have given my all for Atletico – and I’m very happy to live one more season with all of you.”
