Everton’s spending will not stop there – manager Ronald Koeman sees Swansea star Gylfi Sigurdsson as the perfect replacemen­t for Ross Barkley, who has turned down a new deal.

And Michael Keane is also on the Goodison radar despite Burnley’s insistence that they will not sell their influentia­l centre-half.

Those deals would take Everton’s spree beyond the £100m mark and it could go even higher, with the Blues determined to sign another striker given the speculatio­n about Romelu Lukaku’s future.
