Dad & grandad have the same birthday as me
Three generations all born on June 4
A FATHER, son and granddaughter have defied odds of 48 million-to-one by being born on the same day.
Steve Winterbottom, 63, and his son Steve Jnr, 35, were both born on June 4.
And they now share their birthday with newborn “miracle baby” Alexa Ray.
She arrived two weeks early to complete the family tradition. Steve Snr said: “When Steve was born it was the best birthday present, and I didn’t think anything could top that - but my beautiful granddaughter has made it a day I will never forget.” Steve Jnr and wife Emma, 33, had IVF treatment for years and lost two babies. When they stopped, Alexa was conceived naturally. Steve, of Buxton, Derbys, said: “If I’d have put a bet on this I’d be a millionaire. Sadly, I didn’t.” Bookies Ladbrokes said: “We won’t be offering odds on this streak being passed down another generation – we couldn’t afford to!”
