Murray: Make mine a double!
ANDY MURRAY has got back his taste for winning – and is ready to serve up another big Wimbledon celebration.
The Olympic champion went on a West End bender after his second triumph at the All England Club last summer.
But he did not hit London town again after winning his fifth consecutive tournament at The
O2 to finish 2016 as No.1. Murray, who is back in the capital at the Aegon Championships at Queen’s on Monday, said: “At the end of last year at the Tour Finals I didn’t do anything because I was so tired.
“I started to feel it on the day of the final and, after I woke up the next day, I was so tired. I didn’t drink anything. I didn’t celebrate at all.”
Murray, who beat Milos Raonic (above) in the final at Queen’s last year, added: “I have not had loads to celebrate so far this year but I feel I am heading in the right direction again. Hopefully in a few weeks we can have another good night.”
