Brit clubs wait on Euro draws
BRITISH clubs will learn their first opponents in the Champions League and Europa League qualifiers today.
There are three qualifying rounds and a final play-off in the Champions League before the group stage, with Scotland’s Celtic and Welsh club The New Saints in the draw. Liverpool go straight into the play-off round.
Everton and their boss Ronald Koeman are in the Europa League’s third qualifying round as they bid to earn a play-off place for the group stage. Scottish trio Aberdeen, Rangers and St Johnstone are also included in the qualifiers.
