‘Steam roller’ rant on Facebook page
A POST on the Facebook page of the van hire firm owner’s son said it was a “shame” it did not hire “steam rollers or tanks”.
The message on Richard Gear Evans’ page said the attacker “could have done a tidy job then”.
Evans says he works for freight company Eddie Stobart.
The firm said the comments were “reprehensible” and didn’t reflect their view. It added: “We have taken immediate action.”
