DEAL DELAY HAS BLUES ON OX TAIL
CHELSEA are set to enter the race to sign Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain from Arsenal. The champions want to take advantage of the Gunners’ failure to tie down the England midfielder, who has just a year left on his contract. Liverpool and Manchester City are already in the hunt and although Oxlade-Chamberlain (left) has had talks with Arsenal, he has yet to be made a formal offer. In October the 23-year-old said: “I want more game time. Will that be here or elsewhere?” Chelsea centre-back Kurt Zouma, who started only three league games last term, is being watched by Nice, Marseille, Lyon, Inter Milan, Sevilla and Valencia.
