ALEXANDRA BURKE rose to fame after winning the fifth series of The X Factor. When Burke (below) released the winner’s single, the Leonard Cohen song Hallelujah, it set the European record for single sales over a period of 24 hours, with 105,000 copies sold in one day, and became the top-selling single of 2008.
