SPURS: AIN’T NO SONSHINE
TOTTENHAM are facing an injury crisis TWO MONTHS before the start of the new season.
Already without Danny Rose and Erik Lamela for the big kick-off, Spurs could also lose Heung-Min Son (above), who has undergone surgery on his broken arm.
Medics expect Son, injured during South Korea’s 3-2 defeat by Qatar last week, to be out for up to three months although Spurs are hoping for a speedier recovery.
He will definitely miss the pre-season trip to America, where Spurs will face PSG, Roma and Manchester City.
Rose is eyeing a mid-August return from a knee injury, too late for the opening match of the season, but Lamela won’t be fit until October following a hip operation.
