While the country picks up the pieces of Brexit and extreme austerity, their chief architect is hard at it trying to write a book. “You have to do 200 or 300 words a day,” David Cameron bleats, “400, 500, maybe even 1,000!” Just as well the chillaxing former PM wouldn’t get a job on the Mirror if he was the last man on Earth – we churn out more than 30,000 words every single day. But if the book’s a resume of his achievemen­ts, 200 words should just about cover it.
