Alves ready to Pep up Etihad
DANI ALVES is on the brink of completing his move to Manchester City after Juventus agreed to release him from his contract.
Alves, who joined Juventus on a two-year deal after being released by Barcelona last summer, wants to be reunited with his former Nou Camp boss Pep Guardiola at the Etihad.
Juve chief executive Giuseppe Marotta said: “We will rescind his contract and wish him all the best.”
Alves is expected to sign a two-year deal with City, who are still pursuing Spurs’ £40million-rated Kyle Walker.
