Bayern in Lew fury
CHELSEA and Manchester United have been warned to stay away from Robert Lewandowski – or face FIFA sanctions.
The Premier rivals were considering bids for the Bayern Munich striker after revelations that he was unsettled. But the club say he is going nowhere.
“Robert Lewandowski has a contract, which he recently extended until 2021,” said Bayern, in a statement. “If other clubs negotiate with a player, who still has a long-term contract, they risk punishment from FIFA.
“The player’s agent also assured us that he did not hold talks with any club.”
