It’s expensive and fast convertible week, it seems, as McLaren joins Audi with some serious open-top weaponry. The Woking-based sports car manufacturer has produced a roadster version of its 570S coupe. Called the 570S Spider (with an i) it out-prices the Audi R8 Spyder V10 Plus with an on-the-road price of £164,750. The 570S Spider features McLaren’s 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8 engine with 570bhp for a top speed of 196mph. Available to order now if you’re rich enough.
