AUDI SPYDER TOPS 200mph

Audi doesn’t mention the fact but I’m presuming this new R8 Spyder V10 Plus is the most expensive car the German manufacturer has ever put on sale. It is powered by a 610bhp version of the engine that also sees action in the Lamborghini Huracan. We’re talking big numbers that start with the £147,470 on-road price, a top speed of 203mph and 0-62mph in 3.3sec.

The Plus model is 25kg lighter than the regular Spyder thanks to carbon ceramic brakes as standard and a host of lightweight carbon fibre parts. The order books open at the end of this month.
