Crocks on Jose’s jet
MANCHESTER UNITED’S crocks will join their US pre-season tour as Jose Mourinho galvanises his squad for a title push.
United’s players are due to report back on July 8 before flying to America to face LA Galaxy in their first game on tour on July 15.
They are also due to play Real Salt Lake, Manchester City, Real Madrid and Barcelona in the States.
Mirror Sport understands Mourinho has instructed Luke Shaw and Ashley Young to go even though they are unlikely to be fit.
Left-back Shaw is out until August after ankle surgery, while versatile Young injured his hamstring in the Europa League semifinal against Celta Vigo.
The duo had expected to stay in the UK to continue their rehabilitation while the rest of United’s squad went away.
But boss Mourinho has demanded that all of his squad spend time together in the US for bonding purposes and to assist new signings to integrate.
