New food show is just a re-hash
ITV has commissioned a new consumer series called Eat, Shop, Save which sets families challenges to get fitter, enjoy healthier food and spend less.
It is fronted by Ranvir Singh alongside chef and nutritionist Dale Pinnock, finance guru Gemma Godfrey and fitness consultant Tom Pitfield.
The four-part series, which covers challenges spanning eight weeks, airs this summer against a backdrop of stretched budgets and rising obesity.
It is billed as a “new” series but how different can it be from Susanna Reid’s show Save Money: Good Food? We guess they’ve saved cash by not paying anyone at ITV to come up with fresh ideas. . .
