Plea for lost WW2 gongs
A BLIND veteran has appealed for the return of four Second World War medals he lost at a motorway service station.
Alfred Barlow, 95, made a pilgrimage to Normandy earlier this month and stopped at Norton Canes Services on the M6 Toll.
Mr Barlow, of Stockport, Gtr Manchester, who was with 3rd Reconnaissance Regiment said: “I have found it distressing.
“These medals are worth little to sell but to me they are priceless.”
