£140k paid to sex pest cop
A PERVERT officer who was sacked twice earned £140,000 for doing nothing.
Cash-hit Northumbria Police were forced to pay Mark Anastasi 20 months’ salary as chief inspector.
The shamed officer was dismissed in May 2014 for inappropriate conduct with female colleagues but was reinstated on appeal.
He was put on gardening leave until sacked at a second conduct hearing.
Det Supt Janice Hutton described his behaviour as “completely unacceptable”.
