THE CRYSTAL MAZE CELEBRITY SPECIAL
C4, 9pm Telly is going through a period of nostalgia with the return of Twin Peaks, Blind Date and now the cult game show The Crystal Maze.
The original in the 1990s, hosted by Richard O’Brien and then Ed Tudor-Pole was a classic.
Now filling their boots is new Maze Master Richard Ayoade, who guides five intrepid celebrities through the epic adventure of the Aztec, Medieval, Industrial and Futuristic zones.
In each, the team must tackle physical, skill, mystery and mental challenges in a bid to win crystals. Each crystal won gives them five seconds in the final test: the Crystal Dome where they hope to collect gold tokens to win the ultimate prize.
First up are Ore Oduba, Vicky Pattison, Alex Brooker, Lydia Bright and Louie Spence, all hoping to crack the crystal in aid of Stand Up To Cancer.
