Hollywood A-lister Bradley Cooper rocked out on the Pyramid stage yesterday – but only as part of a movie.

The Limitless and Hangover star played guitar in front of the giant crowd in scenes for his new film, A Star Is Born.

Cooper is one of the stars of the movie, but he’s also directing it.

“Thank you very much,” he told the crowd afterwards. “You guys were awesome, that was great.”

George Ezra kicked off Glastonbur­y with a secret live set at Annie Mac’s BBC Introducin­g Stage on Thursday, ahead of his slot on The Other Stage last night.

“You’ve got to make the most of it,” he tells 3am, adding that he’ll stick around for a further two performanc­es for the BBC this weekend.

The 24-year-old Budapest singer has been out of the limelight since his platinum-selling album Wanted On Voyage in 2015, but says he only took a month off before getting back to writing. “It’s nice to have something to write about,” he explains.

New track Don’t Matter Now documents him tackling anxiety, and he invites gig-goers to donate to mental health charity Mind.

He says of the track: “It’s a reminder to myself to relax.” Loyd Grossman… Who plays in a band like this? The pasta sauce king and former star of TV’s Through the Keyhole took to the stage at Avalon’s cafe on Thursday night with his “dad rock” band The New Forbidden. Kiefer Sutherland – TV’s Jack Bauer – brings his Not Enough Whiskey In Europe tour to the Avalon stage, just before 5pm Sunday. Gillian Anderson – taking time out from tracking down aliens, the X Files actress will be talking about women’s rights at Speaker’s Forum on Sunday at 3pm.
