PADDY POWER last night paid out on Aidan O’Brien to lift the top trainer award for Royal Ascot 2017.

And Ryan Moore has one hand on the jockeys’ gong for the five-day fixture, according to the Dublin-based layer.

Moore has five winners — one ahead of William Buick — and Paddy Power’s Paul Binfield said: “We are 1-16 about Ryan Moore and 9-1 Will Buick in what amounts to a match.

“Aidan is on the fourwinner mark going into the final day, and we’re happy to pay out on him as the winner.”
