Charles’ day of the Jackal
THE Prince of Wales takes the wheel of a fearsome Jackal armoured vehicle as he celebrates 40 years as Colonel-in-Chief of the Parachute Regiment.
Charles joined hundreds of families and veterans at Merville Barracks in Colchester for a day of events.
He was appointed after serving in the Navy and completed the Paras’ gruelling training to earn his maroon beret – and feel he could “look them in the eye”.
