Knife victim dies in mum & dad’s arms
A MAN died in his parents’ arms after being stabbed as he walked home from a night in the pub.
James Brindley, 26, was on the phone to his girlfriend when he was knifed in the heart.
She alerted his company director parents who raced to their stricken son from their nearby home.
James died at the scene despite the efforts of paramedics. Four 16-year-old boys on their way home from a school prom had given him first aid.
His family described the budding entrepreneur as “deeply sensitive and fiercely loyal… straightforward and trusting”.
Police are trying to trace the owners of four vehicles caught on CCTV near the scene of the attack in Aldridge, West Mids.
