Few Goggle at Scarlett on C4’s weak week show

After presenting Channel 4’s first Host the Week show, Gogglebox star Scarlett Moffatt may be wishing she was back on her sofa just watching TV.

Only 470,000 viewers tuned in on Thursday for the satirical show. This was Channel 4’s smallest audience for the 9pm slot in 15 years, putting it eighth behind all other main channels plus ITV2, ITV3 and BBC4.

Comic Rory Bremner said: “Really C4? If we want to see a well-known woman struggle with no script, no rehearsal and no idea, we watch the news.”

Perhaps Scarlett, 26, should have stuck to munching kangaroo parts in the Aussie jungle on I’m A Celebrity.
